I grew up in a small town in India surrounded by a loving family and a close community. Life felt secure and supportive, but conversations about money were always present, gentle reminders that we needed to have enough. Those early lessons shaped my desire to create something meaningful and lasting for myself and my family.
When I moved to Australia eight years ago as an international student, I was determined to build a future based on independence and choice. Working in the health sector taught me that good health is not only physical or mental; financial stability plays an equally important role in overall wellbeing. Over the years, I learned more about wealth creation and financial independence, and I saw how understanding money gives you the freedom to live life on your own terms.
When I began my own property journey, it was overwhelming. The market moved quickly, and I missed a few opportunities along the way. It took persistence and what felt like a full time job to build relationships, research suburbs and find the right property. Taking that first step was life changing. In less than three years, I built my own portfolio and continue to grow it. Experiencing the cost of hesitation made me realise how valuable the right guidance can be. That experience inspired me to create Kaurvest to help others start their property journey with clarity and confidence.
For me, property investment is not just about buying real estate. It is about building stability, confidence and long term growth.
